José Carlos Madaleno "GURÚ"
The mentor in charge of the great motorcycle adventures
Born in Angola in 1968, "GURÙ" has more than 600,000 km of motorcycle ride and 59 countries traveled, as distinct as Angola, Portugal, Libya, South Africa, Egypt, Sudan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Kenya, United States America, Canada, Norway, Israel, Finland, and many others.
He also joins his Curriculum with a participation in the mythical DAKAR (2006) where he participated as Co-Pilot and finished in 10th place of the Rookies. It also finished 13th overall in the Rally Transorientale (2008), which links St. Petersburg to Beijing at the helm of a Nissan OTIN.
His fascination with motorcycles started very early, while some rode bikes, the "GURÚ" already was riding his Honda Mini Trail in Luanda, motorcycle that learned to ride, even before learning to read or write. Since then he never stopped.
In 2010 he created an idea of Tour in a Motorcycle around the World, in 5 stages and there came the nickname by which he is recognized as ELEVENS "GURÚ" (www.elevensangola.com).
In 2016 launched the company MOTOCRUISE (www.motocruise.co) which organizes trips around the world. His vast experience in organizing and implementing methods always results in a rewarding experience for all who take part in the journeys prepared and led by him. With the faithful companions his BMW's, the routes he pursue allow for a variety of experiences on any terrain or road. Deep down everything is fueled by the deep passion for motorcycles and adventure.
